That orange one is diesel. And he does go sloooooooooow.

"Equal payload ratings" or not (which I doubt) the little trucks can't do the work of the big ones. It's about volume too, and chassis weight and size as well. I have a Ranger AND an F150 and there is NO COMPARISON in the work they can do. The Ranger can brush up against 30 on a very good day. The F150 can brush up against 20 on a very good day. I've even recorded a couple of 21 mpg tanks but usually it's more like 17; the 21's were under exceptional tailwind conditions and should be considered anomalies.
