Look what I found on ebay for my B210. I forgot all about the fact that Datsun/Nissan spec'ed these unique NGK spark plugs for their special 1.4 liter "mpg" models in 1979. I remember installing a few sets of these during tune ups at the Datsun dealer many years ago.

Above are the standard spark plugs I just removed from my B210 engine next to the special four grounding electrode "mpg" model spark plugs that are going in. Looks like I will gain some extra compression [every bit is welcome!] as the extended tip extends deeper into the chamber. The electrode is also of the "side gap" variety and has a slightly larger .051" air gap than the standard plugs gap at .043". I installed them with clay to check for interference with the piston crown, and they cleared OK. This was necessary because I am using flat top pistons where dished pistons were originally used. I still wish that I had the 1.2 liter "mpg" engine that was available 30 years ago. But my 1.4 will have to do for now. Too much power!
