I called there and left a message for their sales rep. I am told she can email me their menu tomorrow [Monday].

Here's another option. I like this place even better but it's a bit further [11.8 miles from Fonda] in Amsterdam. It's called the Raindancer Restaurant. Prices and menu are in the link. I'm sure they're cheaper than Holiday Inn.

Lets hear what you guys are doing to your cars for this event.
I bought two 4'x8' sheets of 4 mil thick coroplast this morning and will start building my belly pan. I too will be going alternatorless and bought a deep cycle marine battery. I will fit a shorter belt to connect the crank damper to the water pump.
I've also disconnected the electric choke thermostat [which is a constant electrical draw] and will simply wire the choke open. Windows will be up all the way no matter how hot it is on August 23rd. I will have a cooler with wet towels in the car to put around my neck while driving with no radio [or any other electrical accessories] on. I also bought one of those wooden beaded seat covers to keep my back from sweating on the seat.
This is all in addition to the other mods I've done since last year like, taller final drive gears, narrower tires, moon disc caps, lowered suspension, and all synthetic fluids throughout.
OK, how about you guys?

I have a thread with some of my plans elsewhere on the site, but I am hoping to delete my rear wiper today before I move on to bigger and better things in the coming days

There's plenty I want to do, but I don't necessarily have the time to engineer and fabricate all this stuff properly.
So anybody knows about a tape I could get my hands on which is weatherproof, has good adhesive strength, yet will not leave residue (easily removable residue is acceptable) when taken off?

I use automotive body shop masking tape. It comes in a few different widths and colors. A greenish/yellow [like in my avatar] and blue come to mind. Unlike regular masking tape that dries up, hardens, leaves a crusty residue, and is hard to peel after time, this stuff peels nicely and leaves no sticky stuff on the car.

Look what I found on ebay for my B210. I forgot all about the fact that Datsun/Nissan spec'ed these unique NGK spark plugs for their special 1.4 liter "mpg" models in 1979. I remember installing a few sets of these during tune ups at the Datsun dealer many years ago.
Above are the standard spark plugs I just removed from my B210 engine next to the special four grounding electrode "mpg" model spark plugs that are going in. Looks like I will gain some extra compression [every bit is welcome!] as the extended tip extends deeper into the chamber. The electrode is also of the "side gap" variety and has a slightly larger .051" air gap than the standard plugs gap at .043". I installed them with clay to check for interference with the piston crown, and they cleared OK. This was necessary because I am using flat top pistons where dished pistons were originally used. I still wish that I had the 1.2 liter "mpg" engine that was available 30 years ago. But my 1.4 will have to do for now. Too much power!

Yes and better hardware stores have it too.
