I read it, I was just suggesting that you do it the other way because it's easier. You'll see once you get under there, it's not so easy unless you have a siphon pump or a squeezer bottle and a hose.

If it sounds like the reverse noise, once you change your fluid, it will probably go away. You probably should change the fluid before you drive too much further, though, you may be low on fluid. Check/replace the axle seals, shift lever seal before changing your fluid. None of them are entirely difficult to change, but you'll be mad if you spend good money on Synchromesh and it ends up in the parking lot at wally world.

So, to recap - the easiest way to fill the transmission back up is to remove the 10mm bolt that holds in the speed sensor/speedo cable, then fill with a funnel.

If you're not comfortable doing this, or if you have a siphon pump, you can always do it the "right" way.
