LOL. Apparently, that's not gonna happen any time soon, if at all... the only vehicle we have is the van, and my scangauge money just went out the window with the breaking of the wife's starter during install.
I tried to swap the solenoid from another starter I had, but the damn thing broke on me while removing it. Then I tried to solder a new bolt in place of the one that sheared (the one for the starter switch), but by the time I got done, the solenoid had apparently heated up too much, and wouldn't cycle anymore. I threw it. Then I threw the other starter. Then I threw my tool box. I had a "temper" day today, I guess.
I'm officially broke. I mean totally, this time. Unemployment sucks.
$201.90 for a new starter, to (hopefully) start an engine that I'm not even sure runs. (Junkyard pull, but was driven into the yard.) Other than that starter, it's all together though.
