seems like i saw something that said the 97 sc1 had a cd of .33 and the sc2 was .31 and the only difference that might have benefited the sc2 over the sc1 was the spoiler. i know a number of sc1s dont have a spoiler, might not have been an option in 97? i dont know. but then alot of sc1s (mine included) do have a spoiler. also with it removed the trunk ends witha round end that i think would hurt ya.
i've thought about taking off mine despite all that, but i wouldnt take it off without testing first.
