Hmm, this swap is even more involved than I thought it would be.
What are you doing for steering? The Insight has that nice, 12V electric rack. I wonder how easy it would be to transplant that into a Civic.
I think radiator hoses might be a challenge. The Insight has 1+1/8" radiator hoses, or something odd like that. I would keep your large CRX radiator if you can. My hunch is a larger radiator would allow for a smaller grille opening.
Looking at your engine bay, I can't help but counting the plug wires and thinking, "That's too many" and shaking my head sadly. Then I count your horns, and I say the same thing. If your low tone horn works, then the high tone horn isn't pulling its weight (220g if it's like mine).
It looks good all torn apart. Especially the interior, because I know special, high-voltage things are going to happen in there.
