That's a diff type of adapter than I'm used to seeing... the one I'm used to is the one that was in the article I linked you.

RE: Dad talking alot - same here. He'll have conversations with people he's never met, will never see again, and who don't really care what he has to say... none of it bothers him one bit. I talk to just about everyone, as well. It's a family trait.

One of you guys get a chance to measure that axle?
