My opinion is it won't help your MPG in a detectable way, but it may help your radio reception.

nice , this is a great information ...
but i could not understand how they get better mpg in there test and we can't ...

+80 pound (approximation) of audio (and draw a max of 20-25 amp approx..)(ouch for alternator !!)
