For $5, it's worth a shot, I guess. You could always just wire in the other key switch for the immobilizer feature, though, and hide it in the cigarette lighter... (you don't smoke, do you?) so that you still have the immobilizer, and have to use a key to deactivate it, then the original CRX key to start the car.
