To the issue of the exhaust. Get an exhaust shop to make you a length of staight pipe with a bend in it, so you can drop down off your cat and just let it dump under your car for now. Your Catifold is just too short, I feel you might risk burning an exhaust valve or something else if you don't have some pipe on there. Then you can just drop it off at an exhaust shop or spend some time welding up a nice exhaust when you get to school.
