I kind of figured it was like that, but he said 6" down and a foot to the left, so I thought of that... the pipe, being whatever diameter, would make most of the 6" drop in it's diameter (even at like 2.5" pipe, he could angle it slightly) and the flanges would allow it to span the 1 foot to the left and still bolt on to either side... it would probably take about 20 mins to make if he already had some pipe/sheet metal and a couple flanges that would fit.

Probably easier to have an exhaust shop weld up a custom exhaust, though. Especially if you can get side-pipes. That would kick ass, and make an interesting design touch for an Eco-Vehicle.
