New turbo for the Honda

Well it looks like I'm going with a Holset HE351CW turbo.

I spent the last two weeks mapping this turbo out verses a evoIII 16g and the Holset looks like a better choice. They both have small turbines and a small A/R for quick spool but I need a turbo that can flow in the high 40's lbs/min for my desired performance needs(400+whp)

red is the HE351CW map.

My plans are to build a short route charge piping system without any FMIC. This will help with the FE when running gasoline. Then when I go to race the car I will drain all the fuel out and run E85 so there will be no need for a FMIC.

The draining of fuel is easy thanks to Honda for their drain bolt in the gas tank. This came in handy to get accurate fuel mileage readings also. I drain all the fuel out then put nine measured gallons back in and drive until its almost empty then drain the leftover fuel back out to see what was consumed.

So this turbo will complete my engine mods, so now I can focus on the aero mods this winter in which I'm thinking about a full-body aero cover made of Coroplast and Optix acrylic sheeting.
