New turbo for the Honda
Well it looks like I'm going with a Holset HE351CW turbo.
I spent the last two weeks mapping this turbo out verses a evoIII 16g and the Holset looks like a better choice. They both have small turbines and a small A/R for quick spool but I need a turbo that can flow in the high 40's lbs/min for my desired performance needs(400+whp)
red is the HE351CW map.
My plans are to build a short route charge piping system without any FMIC. This will help with the FE when running gasoline. Then when I go to race the car I will drain all the fuel out and run E85 so there will be no need for a FMIC.
The draining of fuel is easy thanks to Honda for their drain bolt in the gas tank. This came in handy to get accurate fuel mileage readings also. I drain all the fuel out then put nine measured gallons back in and drive until its almost empty then drain the leftover fuel back out to see what was consumed.
So this turbo will complete my engine mods, so now I can focus on the aero mods this winter in which I'm thinking about a full-body aero cover made of Coroplast and Optix acrylic sheeting.

That Holset isn't a VNT is it? It looks right, but it kinda looks like a plain 'ole twin scroll, as well... can't really tell to well from the pic.

green map looks the best to me, and instead of draining the fuel, why don't you you water/meth injection, much easier and it'll work too.

Nope its just a normal frame turbo. I do have a Variable Nozzle Turbine but its way to big for what I'm doing.

You should send it to me.. I'll put it on my 2.4 diesel. :P
Seriously, I can't though. It's just too much work to only be able to handle 5 PSI reliably with that engine. If only I had the 300TD (3.0 I5)

I made 418 whp on pump with my other engine running water/meth injection. But for what I'm doing and wanting close to 450whp I need a fuel thats proven at these levels and this engine size.

Seriously if you want it you can have it, all you have to do is pay shipping.
It came off a pusher style diesel engine on a motor home.
Actually I have two of them. You can have both.

Wanna figure out what shipping would be?

I'm kind of thinking about converting a Ford 300 I6 block to diesel... of course, not using the original rods or pistons. The head, crank, and block can take it. I also think I might need a diff cam.
Hey, I've got like 4 blocks to mess it up on, though.
