thin plate on the bolts behind the wheel, one piece 1/4" threaded rod jam nutted in the center. done
IMHO the caps should be convex.

i used junk stainless steel hub caps, put them in the 20 ton bearing press bulged them out to suit my taste. the valve stem hole is covered with aluminum tape but marked so i know where it is.
