It wasn't directed toward me directly, but I'm just saying in general. It doesn't sound very smart to spend 450 bucks, then drill into them to save a few cents. If I were to drill, I'd find some wheels worth drilling into. And then you'd have to find out how to fill in the holes if you decide to take out the screws and take off the caps. you'd have rims that aren't worth anything anymore.

I'd do something that worked more, like wheel skirts that didn't drill into your body. Leave drilling to the beater..
I never said I was going to drill into anything.. That was someone else..

Funny you mentions wheel skirts, I just started them tonight..
Ran out of light, busting out the welder tomorrow..

IMHO the caps should convex.

i used junk stainless steel hub caps, put them in the 20 ton bearing press bulged them out to suit my taste. the valve stem hole is covered with aluminum tape but marked so i know where it is.
Thats awesome man..
How come you dont have a fuel log? I'd love to see what it pulls for FE
