I apply a correction to my car's odometer reading when calculating fuel economy of each tank.
My odometer reports lower than actual, due to swapping the transmission from a model that had different size tires.
I also have a speed (distance) offset entered in the ScanGauge, but it's less accurate than my own calcs against the odometer because you can't enter tenths of a percent when entering the offset.
