I'm sorry but sandwiching a large electric motor between the internal combustion engine and transmission doesn't make a series hybrid. I don't care what they claim. This is a parallel hybrid. Same setup as honda's IMA.
If this was a true series hybrid, they won't need a 4 speed automatic gear box. We already know that the parallel hybrid is more efficient than series so using a smaller 750cc engine makes sense. I don't see why they're trying to market themselves as a series hybrid. Maybe thats the new buzz word everybody loves to hear.
