I suppose that's why there are a bunch of people riding around in Hummers, SUVs, and crew-cab dually pickups, not to mention Corvettes and Camaros. It's 'cause they care so much about price per mile :-)

You do know that there's a 1:1 relationship between mpg and CO2 emissions, and mpg is a much more familiar figure. If I tell people my Insight only does X grams of CO2 per mile, very few know whether that's good or bad. But if I tell them 70 mpg, they do.
