Engineers discovered years ago how tight tolerances can be made. They can be tightened up and equalized a wee skosh from production via blueprinting but beyond that all ya end up doing is destroying the oil film and seizing parts together.

Cadillac has a "rotating firing scheme" but it's a limp-home mode for a coolant loss event.

Pelmear doesn't use a complex crank. I doubt it even does shut anything down, but in the unlikely event it does, it likely doesn't even shut the valves down (no time for that) so it would be the same completely ineffective bull**** ignition/injector kill that we've disproven 1000 times over.
