I had an issue where when i engaged the clutch- the engine did not start - I finally sorted it out to issue with the battery ( terminals were coroded(sp))
Once i cleaned it up - i had no issues.

I also agree with MetroMPG - go to a parking lot and play around with it a while see if you can sort it out first. There are alot of Nuts out there who do not pay attention - so you want to be cautious about "playing in traffic"
