Yeah, I'm around still... Had some family trouble the other day... viewing's tomorrow, but I'm not going... but obviously, I'm not totally in my correct presence, though.
I dunno about those pickle forks... they take awhile to use properly, and usually damage the grease boots, in my experience. The jack thing isn't the easiest to do, but if you've already got the lower joint out, it's the easiest way to do it with things you probably already have.
Either way, though. You can rent a ball joint fork from the parts store and that way you don't actually have to buy it.
LOL While looking for a part for Will, up there, I finally realized that I really need to clean up my crap pile of Honda stuff, and probably most of it will be recycled. At this point, a large percentage of it is just "spare parts" that were never really worth much, but I had them, so there was no reason to throw them out.
I'm still working on getting those two Metros, too. I'm going to wait until I can physically tear into it to get a good look at the rust and see if it's worth salvaging.
