I've decided to go ahead and give up. If I don't, I have a slim chance of finishing but a big chance of a stressful time trying to get home. I am just too tired from school right now to put my full effort in. I will come back with a vengeance in about 2 weeks though and finish up in lovely december when I have about a month of freedom to work on it!
Anyway, I got most of the exhaust done and some other stuff, but some tasks like the knuckles seem pretty out of reach at this point. We'll see when I get back. first thing I'll do when the exhaust is on is see if I can pop some of the DX axles in and start the thing up. Time will tell.
