I've read that there is a reasonable aspect ratio between the width and length of the "T" in reverse trikes that should be something like .75:1 (longer than wide), but I don't recall the reference.. I read it "en passant", and it may have been entirely false. Seems logical, though... if you've got a 75 inch front track, a 100 inch separation between the front and rear axle centers seems proper.
I would be inclined to think there's just more to it than that, though... such as center of gravity, etc.
