I'm a bread baker, and in the winter getting the bread to rise is always an extreme exercise in patience, 'cause I keep the house at 62*. Now I know to do laundry on baking day!!!!
BTW, we only dry our "unmentionables" in the dryer in the summer, and only use it for everything when it's cold. So I just dump the dryer vent air into a small storage room off the garage. Sure makes it nice to work on a car on laundry day!
You're welcome!

Let me know how it works out!

Re: heat exchanger pre-heat: that sounds awesome and even though I kinda know my way around dryers, I've never looked to see where the intake air comes in.
