I would appreciate some help for anyone who might know about this situation.
I recently bought a new Chevy Aveo for my wife (1.6 'EcoTec' engine). She tends to drive with a somewhat heavy foot, so I want to install a vacuum gauge in it. I looked everywhere in the engine compartment and I cannot find a single vacuum line to tee into! (I've installed vacuum gauges on other cars in the past and I know what vac lines typically look like - but here I see nothing, zip, zero, nada. I know better than to tap into the brake booster line.
Anybody here work for Chevy? Anyone familiar with this new engine setup?
