Adding HID's to aftermarket projector housings will work, but don't expect to be blown away by the results.

If you want true OEM HID performance, you'll have to retrofit some true OEM HID projectors into your headlights.

I had a set of ebay projector lights on my old ram. Sure I could tell the difference when I went to the 6000k HIDs, but the amount of light from BOTH 35W HIDs in the ebay cheapo projectors BARELY touches as much as I get out of ONE TSX HID projector (Same 35 W 6000k bulb)

Food for thought. If you're really wanting awesome light output, you'll have to get something stock and retrofit it.
