Good going, gasstingy!!
To get the SG to read EOC:
The ScanGauge has an "Engine Type" setting.
Set it to "Hybrid".
Then it will continue to clock miles - but the ignition has to be on.
You have to do as gasstingy wrote, and turn the key back to on without letting the engine start.
