Believe me: I've been sorely tempted to register and answer questions / correct misunderstandings and outright mistakes in these blog posts and comments about the tail. Alas, nope! I've got better things to do with my time - would rather spend it here at EM.
I figure if anyone's actually interested in the subject matter, they'll follow the link to the home page or to this thread (all the blog posts I've seen so far link to one or the other), and start reading. Then the light bulb will go on.
