Aw come on folks. I think it really works! From what I can see so far, it works something like this:

Electromagnetic pulse is emitted from proprietary red mushroom thingie on top of the motor (the shiitakereator)
Force from pulse hits propietary yellow thingie embedded in the piston (the pancakeptor) which, through a patent-pending process, actually multiplies the force of the pulse by a factor of 10 to 12, depending on moon phase
Resultant increase in force is applied to the crankshaft, rocketing the vehicle forward with mind-boggling creptitude
Not all of the force is required for boggling purposes; some of the excess creptitude force is transferred to proprietary red thingies on crankshaft (bi-magistorometers)
Energy is recycled via the propietary little yellow thingies on the crankshaft (vinylstickions), returning energy to the shiitakerators at nearly 100% efficiency!!!

So simple, an ET could rig one up from castoff UFO parts. Don't you all feel like fools now for ever doubting it.
