Aw come on folks. I think it really works! From what I can see so far, it works something like this:
  • Electromagnetic pulse is emitted from proprietary red mushroom thingie on top of the motor (the shiitakereator)
  • Force from pulse hits propietary yellow thingie embedded in the piston (the pancakeptor) which, through a patent-pending process, actually multiplies the force of the pulse by a factor of 10 to 12, depending on moon phase
  • Resultant increase in force is applied to the crankshaft, rocketing the vehicle forward with mind-boggling creptitude
  • Not all of the force is required for boggling purposes; some of the excess creptitude force is transferred to proprietary red thingies on crankshaft (bi-magistorometers)
  • Energy is recycled via the propietary little yellow thingies on the crankshaft (vinylstickions), returning energy to the shiitakerators at nearly 100% efficiency!!!
So simple, an ET could rig one up from castoff UFO parts. Don't you all feel like fools now for ever doubting it.

Cool

Red mushrooms?

Scam artist or no until he produces something worthwhile he's just wasting time. The small block Ford is 400-500lbs for the Aluminim DOHC Modular. There's not point in using something that big unless he's trying to power America's V8s. Which is dwindling in number, slowly.
I still doubt he's going anywhere with this.

The press that this unfinished kit car got at the auto show is unwarranted, imo. Read the text below, bolding emphasis is mine....to highlight what most say is a glaring lie....

Henry County man's design unveiled at auto show HP2g engine

HP2g Engine in Verde Car

The Revenge Verde has a V-8, 400 horsepower, 110 mile per gallon engine.

There are a lot of so-called green vehicles at the auto show this year; everything from electric cars to hybrids. And one of the most interesting new technologies is from right here in northwest Ohio
A car with an engine that gets more than 100 miles to the gallon was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show Tuesday, and the engine was developed by a Henry County man. The car is now offered and goes for 6 figures. But they're working to get it in more affordable vehicles.
It's called the Revenge Verde. It's a high end, high powered car that will set you back about $200,000. And while the car is turning heads, it's what's under the hood that has a lot of people talking.
Story: North American International Auto Show in Detroit
The car has 3 engine options. One of them is a V-8, 400 horsepower, 110 mile per gallon engine developed by a Napoleon man. Doug Pelmear, CEO and president of HP2G, says he's spent a decade working on the engine and he'd like to see it in more mainstream vehicles. "SUV's, pick-ups, that's what I originally designed it for. But obviously the supercar market picked it up because of the horsepower," says Pelmear.
Peter Collafari heads up Revenge and is proud to offer the hybrid engine in his supercar. He says, "With the engine only working 1/3 of the time, he has tripled the fuel economy for most vehicles. In fact, the technology can be adapted for most vehicles."
Right now, HP2G has facilities in both Wauseon and Napoleon with about 14 employees, but expansion is underway in Napoleon

How it really works:

You break off that red mushroom, eat it, and dream that you live in Pelmear's head.

Full Stop.

Car and Driver Magazine was not fooled. I wonder if Doug has anger management issues....

2011 Revenge Verde - Auto Shows - Auto Reviews - Car and Driver

Oh, wait, there is a pie-in-the-sky part: That third engine, the “hybrid V-8.” The plan is to eventually have a Revenge plant in Ohio that will install HP2g’s Electromagnetic Pulse powerplant into the rolling chassis. The engine is to incorporate ceramic magnets that act on the crankshaft to generate electric current, creating an electric motor of sorts to power spark and accessories. The engine is said to both deliver 400 hp and, combined with cylinder deactivation, more than 100 mpg. Details in the press materials Revenge handed out were fairly thin, but we hear it also runs on kitten whispers and makes a mean banana smoothie.big smile gltu

Ouch. That hurts.

I hear kitten whispers are pretty powerful, though.

Yikes, he figured out how to wrap his hoax in a veil of realism. This is getting scary. He must have a direct line to Ponzi himself!

I think that may discourage the Russian billionaires who probably are the only people willing (and able) to buy this carp, so they keep that bit secret. Its going to be a hit on the boulevards of Moscow though.
