I would not recommend the hole fer the valve stem (if possible). Too much potential fer cutting the valve stem...

I'd try fer a dent in the pizza pan so there's enough clearance on the valve. Use the wheel weight clips and zip tie the pan to the clips. Cut the ties when you have to check yer tire pressures. Cheap enough to replace those.
