It is when their profit margin is higher and it's coming form your pocket, at least for me.
You're not being any more environmentally responsible than you would be just using plain 'ole synthetic oil and recycling it when you're done, so that doesn't cut it. Recycled motor oil has been available in off-brands for years, so it's not like it's even a new process that costs alot now, but will eventually level out. They're just taking your money, and using "recycled" and "green" to do it.
