If I ask the question what can be done to a motorcycle that does not involve fabrication, that would reduce fuel consumption? I come up with install a large tank bag, to fill up the space between the fairing wind shield and the rider, and install long smooth sadle bags that fit close behind the riders legs. What these two things do is reduce the rate of change of cross section which should reduce air drag. an othe easy change is to go up one tooth on the front sprocket to reduce rpm.
what other answers to the above question can you think of?
