It works if I click anywhere but the big "PLAY" button in the middle of the image or the little "play" button at the bottom. If I click anywhere else in the image, YouTube opens in a new window and the vid plays. Something new to troubleshoot!

Anyway, yes. The e-volks people associated with this video are fairly well known as purveyors of super-cheap EV's. They were selling complete 48v Metro conversions at one point for about $2500 US.

The cars I've seen them produce more recently are a bit more advanced than the ForkenSwift (72v), and are a bit more expensive than $2.5k.
