I'm retired, so I have no commute. When I worked, my commute ranged from 3 miles each way to 40. I only drove a single occupant car regularly to work 2 of those years. The rest of the time, I bicycled, motorcycled, carpooled, vanpooled, bused, or rode BART or a ferry.
