I used to live 100-150 miles from work depending on the project, at the time I thought that the pay was good then I did the math and realized that I could not afford to do that any more!
Now I'm 4 miles away and have an EV to take me there, I work less and have more time and money.
A year and a half ago I bought a house that is about half a mile closer to work but is right in town, 8 blocks from down town, now I drive half as much.
