I use the GPS to calibrate the error of my odometer. I add my "2% bonus" in my fuel log. The mistake I made was not doing a GPS check *before* I did my tire change. That would have given me a before/after tire change odometer correction. However, the GPS after-results agreed with my predictions, so I am still happy with it.

In fact, I am way overdue for another GPS odometer check. I will put that on my todo list and report the results soonish.
