The SHOW - '95 Ford SHO Taurus

If you would have asked me what my goals were on January 1st for fuel economy I would have said....HUH? I had no idea I would be hook on ecomodding! I came to this site in anticipation of my 1959 Rambler which is having it's engine rebuilt. I wanted to see what I could do with a vintage mileage winner using some modern modifications. I thought I had it all handled in hypermiling, stay off the brake and gas, DUH. Well, after spending some time here and finding out I knew NOTHING I am blown away at the mileage I am getting with my current daily driver, a 95 Ford SHO. I haven't went thru a tank yet since coming here so I don't have numbers. But today I hit 200 miles on this tank and still have a 1/3 of a tank (at least that is what the gauge says) and I had never hit 200 with the whole tank before!

So, now, I still don't know what my goals are. Only that I want to keep going and learning more and I will even be doing some mods to my SHO.

Wait until the Rambler is on the road, that will be FUN.
