Well my oil mileage is like a 1/2 quart every 500 miles, but my oil is still like the day I changed it. I can live with that.

I also went to an import salvage yard, haven't put them on yet, but got a set of front struts, full assembly for 25 bucks a side, I pulled them. @ 236,000, mine are shot, they knock & rattle. When I changed the oil I checked for front play & there was none, so the noise should be the well used struts.

The only bad thing about digital speedometers, is when picking wear parts off of cars it would be nice to know the miles of a certain part. I had three donor vehicles to choose from, so I just when w/ the part that had the least rust on it & also the cleanest looking car.
