Thanks Andrew for this reply.

I simply keep my tires at sidewall (51psi), I may try more this summer when the min temps will be more stable.

I'm also using a lower weight oil : synth 5w30 instead of 10w40.

I'm a big fan of DWB (Driving without brakes / driving with buffer) but with the exits and entries on my commute roads the speed is very variable and except during holidays, good brakes are a must

I should try to count my number of break touches, this may be a good parameter
I'll permit me to not count my very light break touches I do when I begin to coast so people behind me know that I'm slowing down.

Last summer my records were beaten with P&G (EOC). On French roads people accept people driving slowly, but not variable speed. As I'm blind (no real time fuel consumption display) this year I prefer using DWL with a speed at around PSL-20km/h (12mph) when PSL>=90km/h (56mph).

I'm always using EOC, noticeably in the morning during the first 8 km (5mi) between lights and round about.

My car is given more and more looks, but for different reasons

Denis.
