James if you eliminate the stroke by making the journal off set adjustable, then the pistons are not moving in their respective cylinders. They orbit with the cylinders without motion relative to the cylinders themselves. Combine it with a CVT and you can pulse a glide the motor without changing the speed of the vehicle.
