Actually, the tires on the veyron are more than $1300 each

It uses special Michelin PAX run flat tires, designed specifically to accommodate the Veyron's top speed, which reportedly cost $25,000 US per set

But if I'm not mistaken he is referring to $1300 per set of 4 tires, or $325 a piece. Still pricey, but more realistic
