Cordless is the only way to go, I have a Newton lawnmower at home. It uses a 24 volt battery which I have two of so I alternate them in use, and it will do two property's no problem.
Also at my friends greenhouse operation we built a trolley to go down the houses with two Black & Decker cordless mowers suspended from it to trim the plants to make them bushy. It adjusts up and down and the rack slides sideways on the trolley, it saves days of man hours to trim the plants.
