Better Passive Ventilation?

Has anybody tried installing a better passive air vent in their vehicle? Like adding exhaust vents out into the low pressure wake at the back, and/or adding intakes from ahead of the radiator? If the intake tied into the existing vent system, then the warmer air that seems to happen with the intake at the base of the windshield could be avoided.

Thoughts? Questions? Hints? Experience?
