just picking on you; I saw the thread and knew it was one of your favorite arguments about the rain so I had to verify that you said it. I agree with you though; not much air movement there. My car has some; I did remove one wiper and place the other one as low as possible on the glass, and the drops from the bottom 1/4 of the windshield do move upward. Just not as fast as those above.
Your note about the valve cap made me remember; I took a student's keys to him after school one day; he left them in my classroom and when I called his mom at work, she said he would be locked out for hours before she returned. I got there and found they were not in my pocket; I turned to return to look in my car and saw them on the rear deck of the car; I had left them on the roof and luckily they slid down the back window and caught in the trunk for 5 miles. Next time I agree it's safer to leave them in the windshield bubble; fairly slow moving air.
