Well, my 05 Aveo is in need of some TLC. It has 108k miles on it and wasn't properly taken care for at all. I have a random misfire code and the front struts are loose at the top mount. That stuff plus there are a few other things I didn't like. The handling isn't that great (in 06 they revised the suspension), shifter is really sloppy, power steering is very light giving horrible road feel, gas & brake pedal don't have much feel. Basically the whole car needs to be tighter. Everything is loose and sloppy feeling.
I have yet to run a full tank of gas through it, but I'm hoping to eek out 40 mpg without any serious hypermiling (no P&G and no EOC). If I can't achieve that I'll be disappointed. However, with the misfire code its not going into closed loop so I don't even know if its using any EGR at this point. Still working on getting it running smooth.
