What was the capacity of the cetane booster? Kinda like adding a bit of fuel midtank, but the cetane booster did the job I'm sure.

Drat, I was hoping it was technique.
The only reason I got it instead of straight injector cleaner was because the booster with cleaner mixed in was on offer at my local Halfords and turned out cheaper by volume. I also just about had the right cash in my pocket vs the cleaner - I'm like Prince Charles in that I rarely carry cash...
I'll have to do the maths and work out if its worth it overall but off the top of my head it looks like it is. The cost for a tankfull treatment was about £3.99 which is less than I pay for a gallon of Diesel at UK prices and the extra distance is about 2 gallons worth estimating 50 mpg. So I would say yes.

Yep it is, specs are 6 speed manual, 1.9 TDi 130hp with lightened flywheel, SMF and uprated sachs clutch. The only other mod is my gaffer tape wrapped boost pipe which was leaking.
Like all moderns though its lardy, so being smaller than a Golf 1 its also heavier. If I can make my mind up whether its a permanent keeper I may start to lighten it - removing seats and so on.
