Indeed, the HF wheels are more aero, but I've gotta use what I have. However, they are ridiculously light. For once, the tire weighs way more than the rim itself.
I used Rustoleum gloss white. But, more of never-painted-a-car-before skills and figuring out a setup is the reason why it's not glossy at the moment. Had a meh-gun, but the thinner I made the paint the better the finish was each time. Once the paint hardens I'll be able to work it smooth. Rustoleum is very tough, and lasts a good long time. About $150 spent, I think. Budget went to hell at the last minute because I had to buy a new gun since the one my friend had was giving us trouble. The drive home was much more comfortable though, I'm quite happy about the cooler inside temps.

"All I know about music is that not many people ever really hear it. [...] But the man who creates the music is hearing something else, is dealing with the roar rising from the void and imposing order on it as it hits the air. What is evoked in him, then, is of another order, more terrible because it has no words, and triumphant, too, for the same reason. And his triumph, when he triumphs, is ours." -Sonny's Blues
