Hello, I'm new to this forum/thread... Hi everybody
I was just wondering, did someone tried to use the motor
controller as a charger. I think it can be esily achieved
if there is contactor on the (M-) terminal of the motor
wich will cut off and divert the output from the controller to (P-) of the rectified
mains line, and it will share the same (+) as the battery, controller
and the motor. There is current sensor on board, it just needs some
precise voltage monitoring of the battery pack. The rest should be
coded in firmware, two or three stage chraging, constant current, voltage, float
etc...
Also this contactor could be used as emergency cut off, and protection
if contoller fails somehow, like poped to always conductive FET,
Contactor terminals can be wired N.C. to mains rectifier, N.O. to Motor, and common to controller (M-).
Any suggestions?
